The building responds to University Square with an accent on the corner and a spacious loggia which marks the entrance hall. On the first Floor, meeting rooms and training labs are located. Here, the users are spread to the four cores which give access to the labs. The ground floor is reserved for commercial space and heavy-duty laboratories.

The university is in the process of establishing itself and requires flexible spaces. A depth of 20 m, a load-bearing façade and standardized risers allow for the implementation of large scale laboratories as well as smaller rooms.

The façade openings are optimized with regard to and energetic aspects and the use of daylight. The façade itself is done in masonry with a pattern of projecting bricks.
