Specific interventions complete the existing building and develop it without denying their contemporaneity. Old and new are not didactically distinguished from one another but merged into one.

Two new attics in a wooden lightweight construction with dormers facing the street tie in with the historic appearance. A skylight lantern crownes the stairwell. The main building accommodates offices and meeting rooms; service rooms are located in the garden wing.

At the interface between front building and garden wing a rather cramped area is removed in order to make room for a generous foyer in front of the new elevator group which faces the courtyard.
