The post-war division of the stately apartment had produced a situation where the living room with orientation onto the lake could only be entered through the kitchen. The aim of the refurbishment was a generous living area including an open kitchen. Three floor-to-ceiling cabinets divide the room. They are characterized by differently proportioned horizontal slits.

Scenic vistas make the depth of the house and its location on the corner of Lake Lietzensee perceptible already from the entrance hall.

The new bathroom is fitted with glass mosaic. It has a high central space onto which niches with different themes open up. The Travertine stone on the floor corresponds to the leached oak floors in the living areas.
